Azienda Agricola Principe Pignatelli of Monteroduni makes and sells extra-virgin olive oils and food preserves in the historical Principi Pignatelli Farm of Monteroduni, in Isernia province.
The agricultural production of the Pignatelli farm started back in 1669, in the ancient farmhouse of Monteroduni, among over three thousand century-old olive trees, as valuable as gold. The area is known as Venafro the Green, famous for its olive groves since antiquity, quoted in the poems of the Latin poet Oratio for its savoury oil.
